Climbing to the hill top and reaching out the valleys and lake side meadows are enough. Now it is time to reach the peak of another top hill. Pangarchulla peak is a great trekking route, ideal for experienced. The journey is not that much tough, but the route throughout is long and needs enough energy to be covered. It will be ideal, if you choose the trek route through Kuari Pass. Gorgeous forests with alpine and deodars are at the foothill region, where excellent snow covered path with soft touch and nature's colorful beauty is there preserved for the next round of the trek. While going through the woods at the bottom level, you can see Himalayan Bears and leopards. However, there is nothing to regret if they are not found, since nature has spread her seven colors over the snowy path ahead.
Pangarchulla Peak Climb
Wonderful path to be covered with a snow guide: Your trek route will start from Chamoli, a district in Garhwal Himalayas. You will start rising from there on to Joshimath, till you reach Kuari pass. After you reach the pass, the real pickup to the Pangarchulla peak starts. Height till Kuari pass is 3650 m and that of the peak is Pangarchulla peak is 4700 metres. So, as you reach Kuari pass, you are already half the distance. Steep slopes and excellent landscapes are there in your path, but the real beauty queen is on both thee sides. Just look the sides – all the high peaks are staring at you with bewildered view. The trek route is not that much tough, but the experience is excellent, filled with tranquility, energy and pleasuring sights. At the end of the noon, you will reach the peak of the hilltop. You are just at the top, experiencing a view, where there is absolutely no obligation.
Down the slope, you might have experienced the excellent meadows. Alpine, deodars create a dense forest with excellent grassland bridging them. Your heart will feel that its age has been minimized by 20 years, by experiencing the beauty. Solitude of the place and freedom, beyond all imaginations will create a bloom inside you to run here and there. Journey towards the top is even more awesome. Throughout the trek route, there is no place where you will have to climb erect hill tops. So walking with comfort, watch Shiva's consort in her full glow. Excellent beauty, floral smell in the valley area and snowy bed at the hill top will establish her massiveness in your heart, but will not create fear in you. Her calmness and hostility are really admiring for all her children.
The full path is renowned among the local people to be a part of the Swargarohini Journey of Pandavas. There are more myths regarding the playing area of Ganesh, in his childhood days. The diary writing about the trek will be eased with the mythological stories, in your knowledge. However, the nature and her beauty, as you will reach the top will look as if it has got no limit at all.

Where is the Pangarchulla Peak?

Pangarchulla Peak Climb Trek (Detailed Itinerary)

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar – Rishikesh
In the morning take an AC train to Haridwar at 06:50AM. On arrival at Haridwar by 11:25AM, meet our representative at the train station, who will assist you to Rishikesh and help check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the Ganga Ghat for Aarti ceremony. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh - Joshimath (245 kms/8-9 hrs
In the morning, we shall drive to Joshimath via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Chamoli. On arrival, check-in to a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Joshimath - Auli - Gorson Meadow (3200m)
Post breakfast, we shall drive towards Auli (14 kms/45 mins drive) and from here trek towards Gorson Top. One is likely to witness magnificent views of Nanda Devi Peak. We shall trek dense forests of oak and rhododendron to reach Gorson Meadow. On arrival, we will set out our camp, later explore Gorson. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 04: Gorson Meadow - Tali (3310m)
Today, early in the morning, we shall wake up to witness the sun rise on Mt. Nanda Devi. Later, we will enjoy delicious breakfast. Our trek today will be towards Tali, which is another beautiful meadow. The trekking trail is steep from Gorson Bugyal but it descends sharply down towards the forest. On arrival at Tali, we shall pitch our camp near a small pond. Dinner and overnight stay in the tent.
Day 05: Tali - Khulara (3395m) via Kuari Pass 5-6 hrs
Post breakfast, we will begin our trek to Khulara via Kuari Pass. During our trek today, we shall be able to see spectacular views of mighty Himalayan peaks like Chaukhamba, Neelkanth (6596m), Narayan Parbat (5965m), Mana (7272m), Kamet (7756m), Abi Gamin (7355m) and Dunagiri (7066m). On arrival at Khulara, we shall set our camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Khulara Base Camp - Advanced Base Camp (4000m) 4 hrs
Today, we will begin trekking towards Advance Base Camp of Pangarchulla Peak with all our climbing gear. Our trek will be on gradual slopes on the snow covered North face of the mountain, from where the views are simply spectacular. On arrival, we shall set out our camp at the ABC for the night stay.
Day 07: Advanced Base Camp - Summit - back to Khulara Base Camp 4-5 hrs
Early morning, we will watch the sun rise and then attempt summit. After successful summit-bid, we shall trek back to Khulara Base Camp. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 08: Khulara - Tapovan (1905m) 4-5 hrs - Rudraprayag (120 kms/4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, we shall trek towards Tapovan and from here; we will be driving to Rudraprayag via Joshimath and Chamoli. On arrival, check-in to a hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Rudraprayag - Haridwar - Delhi
Post breakfast, we shall drive to Haridwar via Devprayag and Rishikesh. On arrival at Haridwar, we will go to railway station to catch AC train for Delhi at 18:05 hrs.
