Best Time to Visit Bhaba Pass Trek

The Bhaba Pass can be trekked anytime between May and October but, the ideal time is after the end of monsoon season that lasts from June till August. Though May does not face monsoon showers but, you can find snow along the route making the path slippery and tough to climb.

Where is the Bhaba Pass Trek

Bhaba Pass is the gateway between Kinnaur and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh and is frequently used by local shepherds to crossover between two valleys.

How to Reach Bhaba Pass Trek?

The trek starts from Shimla, so one needs to reach this beautiful hill town to begin with the expedition.
By Air: You can book a domestic flight from Delhi or Chandigarh to the 'Jubbarhati Airport', located in Shimla. Private/shared taxis can be easily availed from the Shimla airport to reach Kafnoo, from where the actual trek begins.
By Rail: Kalka is the nearest railway station connected through Delhi and Chandigarh railway stations. To reach Shimla, Himachal state run buses or taxis can be hired from outside the Kalka station. A toy train also runs between Kalka and Shimla. If time permits, do take this option to have a memorable experience of a train journey that passes through winding hilly trails and tunnels.
By Road: Volvo, Himachal state run buses, Delhi tourism buses and taxis can be directly hired from Delhi and Chandigarh up till Shimla.
